Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2025 Posts
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or as per IBPS guidelines.
- Educational Qualification:
- Clerk (Office Assistant – Multipurpose): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Officer Scale I (PO): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Officer Scale II (Specialist Officers): Graduation with relevant specialisation depending on the post:
- General Banking Officer: Degree in any discipline.
- IT Officer: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/IT or related fields.
- Chartered Accountant: CA Certification.
- Law Officer: LLB Degree.
- Treasury Manager: Degree in Finance/Banking/Economics.
- Marketing Officer: Degree with Marketing specialization.
- Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture or allied fields.
- Officer Scale III: Degree with minimum 5 years experience in relevant field.
- Age Limit (as on 01/09/2025):
- Clerk: 18-28 years
- Officer Scale I: 18-30 years
- Officer Scale II: 21-32 years
- Officer Scale III: 21-40 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
- Other Requirements: Proficiency in local language of the concerned state is mandatory for Officers and Clerks.
