The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released new guidelines regarding answer key challenge and objection management for Computer-Based Examinations (CBE). These rules will be applicable from SSC GD Constable Exam 2026 and other upcoming exams.

Wrong / Ambiguous Questions Handling

  • If a question is ambiguous, incorrect, or has no correct answer, it will be discarded.
  • Marks will be given to all candidates, whether attempted or not.
  • If multiple correct answers exist, marks will be given to those who selected any correct option.
  • Wrong attempts will still carry negative marking.
  • If a question is out of syllabus, it will be discarded and marks given to all.

Language & Translation Error Rules

Situation Action Taken
Question wrong in one language Discard only for that language candidates
Correct in other languages Normal evaluation for those candidates
